Older successes

Incidentally, while I think of it, I did at one stage create a page on my web site which showed some of my Search Engine Successes - it is here: Search Engine Sucesses

Computer CRMS

To be completely honest with you, I don't know exactly how I managed this, but for a few short weeks I was top of both the google.co.uk and google.com indexes for the terms "Computer CRMS". Well, I was number 2 on the main index, but even so pretty good! A CRMS in case you don't know is a "Customer Relationship Management System".

The page that achieved this was this page: Customer Relationship Management System

Life coaching phone lines

Here are 2 successes I noticed today:

For the key words "Life coaching phone lines".

They take you to: Life coaching links

So I have the 2nd and 3rd spots against these keywords on google.co.uk.

Not quite so good on google.com, but both links are still in the first 10 links (ie. on the first page). 4th and 8th I think.

Search engine optimisation

I've stopped resisting. From time to time I notice how some of the pages I manage on the web have topped on google for specific key phrases.

When this happens I tend to take a snapshot, so that people believe me when I say I do know at least a little about what I'm talking in this respect.

The question up to now has been what to do with these snapshots.

I got them all in a directory somewhere... but now a better solution presents itself... BLOGGER!!!!

BTW if anyone would like to hire me (I'm a software consultant, familiar with a wide diversity of areas from Web Analytics, to 3D graphics (eg. XNA), to .NET database and PocketPC mobile development, well then you can track me down via: Dorset Software.
